Modern Slat Fireplace Accent Wall in Kirkland

This Kirkland living room started with a large blank wall that lacked a clear focal point. The homeowners wanted to turn it into a more finished, architectural feature while creating a dedicated space for the TV and fireplace.

We transformed the wall with a floor-to-ceiling black slat design centered around the television and electric fireplace. The dark vertical detailing creates strong contrast against the light interior, while natural wood floating shelves on both sides soften the look and provide space for décor.

The finished feature wall gives the room a much stronger visual anchor without overwhelming the rest of the space. The combination of black architectural detailing, warm wood, and the integrated fireplace creates a clean, modern focal point that feels intentional from every angle.
